Cory Bridges Cory Bridges 34, is from Baltimore Md., and spent most of his life there. He grew up the oldest of two half sisters and two half brothers. While in Baltimore he held a number of jobs including a security officer and warehouse laborer. He also supervised other security officers for sometime. Cory came to D.C. in October 2006 and has been a vendor for Street Sense since then. He now lives at New York Avenue Shelter and is working towards go back to school and get his own place. He has been homeless on an off since 1995, which was after his grandfather died. In October his apartment in Baltimore kept flooding so he decided to move out and headed to D.C. for a change of scenery. In five years he hopes to have a nice new home and college education," and he is already looking to take classes He likes any type of music but country and loves lasagna.
